A classic gents signet ring, made from rich 18ct yellow gold, crafted into a heavy tactile band, embellished with hand engraving, engine turned patterns and a gypsy star set old cut diamond. A style favoured by men of all generations; a classic heirloom design. Suitable for any finger or occasion, this is a quality vintage ring to own.
The diamond is an antique Old Brilliant Cut Diamond, originally mined and cut pre-1930. Old Cuts have slightly different proportions to the modern brilliant cut, with a deeper crown and flat cullet. It would have been shaped and faceted without the modern technology the diamond industry relies on today, making an old cut diamond something to admire.
Crafted from 18ct yellow gold the shank measures 5.9mm at the back increasing to 9mm at the front. The diamond has an approximate diameter of 3.9mm.
This ring is part of our pre-owned collection and has been professionally cleaned, polished, fully checked and tested so you can buy with confidence. This vintage ring is in excellent condition and carries a Birmingham hallmark for 9ct gold which dates it to the year of 1937.
